Rand Paul turned me off because he announced already in 2013 that he was planning to run for president in 2016, and then he forced the Kentucky legislature to change the rule so he could also run for his reelection of his seat in the US Senate.
That didn’t bother me , we need Rand in the Senate , although I think the neo-cons got to Rand ...he has changed his tune on foreign policy ...
At least he waited a couple of years before he ran for President. My Senator, Cruz, was not even in the Senate for a year before he started running for President.
