Air France stewardesses, furious at being ordered to wear headscarves in Tehran, say they will refuse to fly to the Iranian capital when the airline resumes the service later this month.

Female members of flight crews have been ordered to cover their hair once they disembark in Tehran and unions are demanding that the flights be made voluntary for women.

I used to fly combat support missions out of Saudi in the 1980s after Reagan reflagged the Kuwait Oil Tankers with American Flags. All US Military Female personnel were required by the Saudis to wear it. There were not allowed to leave the compound without US Military male companions.

We had one young lady who was blond and very attractive and one of the locals tried to purchase her offering $250,000 for her. The Saudi was very lucky we were under orders to be on our best behavior downtown or he would of had the beating of his life by several accompanying aircrew escorting her. Koranimals can not and will not ever be able to integrate with the Western World.

History will record the Obama/Iran episode as shameful.

Ya know, not all French folks surrendered. They did have a pretty effective and stiff resisitance.

I think the French citizens see how they’ve been duped and are beginning another resistance movement.

there is more to it than that

for France, it is about national well being and perhaps survival. France is an economic basket case. France must export to survive. Iran is a huge market

Iran alone is worth more than all the French colonies in Africa....chad, Mali, Burkina Faso, Algeria

“Koranimals can not and will not ever be able to integrate with the Western World.”

That should be the operant phrase in the mind of each & every one of us whom the muzzies deem “infidels”.

It’s us or them. Buy ammo.

Appeasement, feeding the crocodile hoping you are last.
And it is part of the Islamic plan.
Terrorism is a low cost invasion/infiltration plan. Blow up some people in public to terrify the majority, commit some atrocity and publicize it, and you scare them into making concessions. Let the Muslim immigrants stay, publish critics of Islam. When someone challenges a Muslim or Islamic actions as a whole, commit another atrocity, scare them into further submission, until you have Shariah law. Repeated terrorist acts are a slow way to shift society the way you want without the cost or hassle of raising an army and invading.
Have taharrush mobs harass women on the streets on New Years. The women out that late deserve to be raped per the Koran, you scare the rest into staying home or covering up as Islam commands. Justify the occasional honor killing, female genital mutilation, etc, to make it more acceptable. Push the society through organized harassment, fear and pressure until it looks like yours because in Islam, you don’t do what the Romans do, you tell the Romans to do what you want them to do or you’ll make their lives miserable until they do it.

You’re right; American troops landing in French North Africa were mowed down by French soldiers determined to protect their culture and way of life. Two years later we invaded their homeland anyway; over time, we changed it from the “invasion of France” to a “crusade”...

“Why is everyone so willing to bow and kiss the asses of the Muslims?”........

The “Muslimes” have already indicated they intend to take command of the world and destroy any evidence that Christianity ever existed. Certainly we should not “offend” them in their cause..... (sarc)

In europe, that is all they can do. They are suppressed, as are we, but much worse even.

Some leader from an Islamic country was supposed to have lunch with the French PM awhile back. When the Muslim requested that wine not even be at the table, the French PM canceled lunch.

For more information:

McSally objected to U.S. Central Command’s policy requiring servicewomen deployed to Saudi Arabia to wear the abaya while shopping OFF BASE, OFF BASE at the local suk.

However well-intentioned, said Lt. Col. Mary McSally, this policy violated her rights as a Christian and discriminated against women. That was nonsense.

It had not occurred to Col. McSally that Saudi Arabia is not the United States. That Saudi Arabia has no constitution or Bill of Rights. That Saudi Arabia is a theocracy in which Islamic law is the only law. And, moreover, we do not have a SOFA between Saudi and the US. . .that is a critically important fact. We were not exempt from local laws when OFF BASE.

Absent a SOFA, Saudi Arabia has the right to insist that its cultural, legal and religious practices be, not respected but not spit upon either (it’s their country, after all).

Col. McSally had a right to be uncovered ON BASE, but she has no right to insist that Saudi Arabia accommodate this practice OFF BASE. She understood this. She knew this but yet SHE decided to dictate to Saudi what females can wear.

This is not surprising when you understated she was promoted early (”I’m special”) and a female (”I’m special”) and flying a fighter (”I’m special”). Her arrogance was legion among us that served at the same time as she did. Especially in the A-10 community.

Everything was about her, not the mission, not the bond that brought warriors together, and certainly not service before self.

She objected to the rules and had options:

1) She could have taken her concern up the chain of command and hoped DoD and State could work something out with the Saudi’s
2) She could have gone direct to the IG to ensure a fair hearing of her objections, conducted completely outside the chain of command
3) Contacted her congressman and initiated a “congressional” for action.

She elected to act unilaterally and instead of acting irresponsibly.

She donned her feminist garb and decided on her own to ignore three official channels. That is distasteful and immature behavior.

Me-me-me is not an honorable quality for an officer (or anyone).
