Yes Rubio asked to keep his delegates. It he hadn't they would have been reallocated and Trump would have gotten about half of the 9 Rubio delegates. In this case all 9 will go to Cruz on the second ballot.

Thanks I wasn’t sure how that worked...so Trump has to win the 1237 votes...I don’t think the country can stand a contested convention...
