IF this was happening to boogery Cruz, you would be singing a different tune. But, since he is okay with stealing, then I assume you are as well.

I see you are another one who sanctions lying, stealing and cheating. This says a lot about your character as well as his. This country is gone.

The private group has a lock on the process. You just can’t do it without going through them.

Trump backers confront Tennessee GOP over delegate flap

I think this is a link only site

States they changed it prom a public to a closed meeting. Or...room was full.

Smoky backroom on a Saturday morning.

I am a Cruz supporter. I was told that Cruz people were also to be at this meeting. This is how perhaps some unity can be developed. From the roots up.

Cruz / Trump people need to UNITE in common cause on this. GOPe is in the process of setting up for The Big Steal (BS) in Cleveland.

I don’t consider him a pampered cry-baby. Yeah, he is used to being in charge of who and what is around him...that goes with the territory he’s earned. Any highly successful businessman would be the same. But in this case he volunteered to give that up and go through the gauntlet because he figured it was a cause worth doing.

Do you think it’s ok that the GOP isn’t going to play by the rules? Is it ok that the people honestly cast their votes for delegates who are supposed to vote for Trump and then the powers that be decide that isn’t going to happen...do you think that is ok?

-—What could more destructive than purposely losing elections and leaving half the country without representation?
.
.
.
This is why I don’t buy the argument that “a vote for anyone but this or that established politician on the R ticket is a vote for the dems”

Who cares, they are the same party. One is the get-along-gang, the other is the agitators. There is absolutely little difference between the two except that if a R is in office, he gets blamed for everything wrong with the country, if a D is in office he gets to blame the R’s who are in congress for everything that is wrong with the country.

The establishment R’s have the house and senate, and you would think the D’s have it. At least SOME D’s would have vetoed the budget Ryan handed to Obama on principle.

Not the GOP, they wrapped it up, added extra goodies into the basket and hand delivered to him with a shiny bow on top, then went back to their constituents asking for more money to fight abortion and to stop Obama... yeah right.

Sure you could - you could go the Ross Perot route. You wouldn't win, but Trump isn't going to win anyway.

It’s his own fault he PISSED off a ton of women both pro abortion and pro life, changed his position on abortion 3 times in 3 hrs. Maybe you should be reading his favor-ability polls. Gallup has it at 63% UNFAVORABLE.

Trump MAY win the nomination if he can get to 1237 before the convention. If he can't lock it up before then, he won't lock it up at the convention. But Trump was never going to win the general election. He is the only candidate that makes Hillary look honest and trustworthy by comparison. Heck, if Trump is the nominee, polls show that Hillary could possibly win even deep red states like Utah and Arizona! At least they would be in play, forcing Trump to defend states that should automatically be in the GOP column.

You are right, but a big part of getting out and fighting, and working within the rules is exposing each and every attempt to convert a delegate.

When the delegate being pressured realizes the voters know exactly who is thinking of jumping ship, and how they are being pressured, and who is paying them off, they will think twice.

Saying “those are the rules” doesn’t mean a thing. This is about the actions that the GOPe CHOOSES to take. Whenever the GOPe screws the American public over, they ALWAYS do it “by the rules”. That’s just the mechanism that they use. They’re not cheating Trump, they’re cheating US!! I really don’t understand this smug attitude that people have who don’t seem to realize they whether they are for Cruz or Trump, they are still part of “we the people”. You’re getting cheated right along with everyone else, but just because they’re cheating the other guy first, you’re all happy and smug about it. Wake Up!!

Delegates in Tennessee are directly elected. If Trump did not organize enough delegates to fill the number he was supposed to win, there is a process in place to fill them. I am sure the officials are picking not so friendly to Trump delegates. However, he could have planned better and I believe they still have to vote for him on the first round.

If anything, this is good practice for November. The Democrats will try an steal the election (since nobody really supports Hillary, but she is supposed to win).

If Trump crushes the GOPe now, the Democrats will be a little bit more hesitant to commit outright fraud.

If a GOPe candidate is selected, the Democrats will just laugh as the stuff the ballot box.
