Exactly. Virtually all of these people are where they are because of looks, the ability to memorize lines someone else created, and no small amount of luck. As a group they have no special insight, training in critical thinking, engineering or science, politics, military issues, or even much of a connection with the day-to-day life experiences of average Americans. The only advice I'd ever look to an actor or actress for would be on acting.
