It’s moot at the moment: it’s impossible to support or unsupport a nominee until there is one. Pretty meaningless, really.
Wouldn’t the written contract take precedence over a subsequent oral contract? In other words, can Trump void his written promise orally?
It is about time to get the popcorn ready and kick back and have fun watching the festivities. If Trump, Cruz, Kasich, Hillary, or Bernie are the best this nation can offer for its highest office, we are indeed screwed and deserve whatever befalls the nation.
Perfectly distilled. It really is that simple.
If so, who would they go to? Cruz and Kasich won’t pledge to support the nominee, either.
Give them to Cruz who also broke the pledge.
If he did then so did cruz
According to the first paragraph of the above article:
“So thats why Cruz wont give a straight answer when hes asked if hell break his pledge over Trump insulting his wife. Its not about proving hes a man of his word. Its because, as usual, hes well-versed in the rules and Trump isnt.”

That would be the problem of the people who Trump is surrounding himself with.. I can only presume he would pick the same inept people to surround himself with as President. ‘Doesn’t bode well.
Cindy, don’t read the article? Its South Carolina. DONEald got all the delegates, so no one else can give up any......
kind of nonsense is actually trying to help Hillary be president
You are not the first to wonder what Trump REALLY is up to.
Free delegates go wherever they wish.
Cruz got ZERO delegates out of SC.
So this author’s spin that Cruz was so brilliant that he couldn’t give a straight answer and prattle on like a typical politician is contorted. Ridiculous actually.
Those 50 delegates will Vote for Trump on Round 1.
They will then vote for Cruz on Round 2.
Just in..

I thought Kasich and Cruz both waffled on the pledge as well. So I guess nobody gets SC delegates?
