I am thinking it will be Paul Ryan. That way its’ their insurance in case Trump goes and gets himself impeached or decides to quit midstream. They are willing to concede the POTUS to Trump but not get shut out of the picking his safety net and/or they have leverage as an always threat of to impeach if he doesn’t play ball.

Naming Bernie VP would be a coup of the first order but I fear Sanders would decline.
