Read this article. A Political Operative who is familiar with several key players, including Ted Cruz campaign manager Jeff Roe did an interview. In it he says the Cruz campaign planted the Enquirer story to mitigate an actual affair Cruz had years ago.

He says Glenn Beck says he would disown Cruz if Enquirer story true. Then he can come in later and say, ok, there's an affair but nothing like the five mistress thing and we're all human.

He was married such a short time. Very bad.
