Genocide: Christian Population in Iraq Drops by 80% in Just Over a Decade
Breitbart ^ | Thomas D. Williams, Ph.D.

The Christian population in Iraq has been decimated in a little over a decade, dropping from 1.4 million in 2003 to just 275,000 today, according to a report released this month.

The recent joint report, compiled by the Knights of Columbus and In Defense of Christians (IDC), tells a horrific story of a religious and ethnic purge in the Middle East that has produced the systematic eradication of Christians from the territory.

Christianity’s roots in Iraq date back as far as the first century and yet now has fallen prey to Islamist militant groups committed to the extermination of Christians.

There is truly evil in this world.

This would not have happened without the support of the Obama administration.

Decimated means reduced by a tenth.
Eighty percent would be more like octimated.

Meanwhile, John Kerry needed more time to call it genocide.

Obama and his thugs are responsible for this.

Actually, it wouldn’t have happened if Saddam Hussein was still around. An inconvenient truth, but the truth nonetheless.

This is because of the tolerance among the Religion of Peace.

Yes, Saddam was a bad guy. But Christians were safe in Iraq under his rule.

Cleansing the M.E. of Christians is a goal of the NWO. (Bush/Clinton/Bush/Obama...)

ISIS is just part of the broader strategy of eliminating monotheism from the M.E., Europe, and N. America.

After the Muslims have slaughtered the Jews and Christians, the NWO will slaughter the Muslims.

The Pope and the majority of bishops are cheeringleading for the elimination of the Catholic Church in Europe and N. America. They applaud, AND PROFIT FROM, the invasion of the U.S. by people who vote 70% pro-abortion.

A ‘bad man’? That’s an udnerstatement

[[The Documental Centre for Human Rights in Iraq has compiled documentation on over 600,000 civilian executions in Iraq. Human Rights Watch reports that in one operation alone, the Anfal, Saddam killed 100,000 Kurdish Iraqis. Another 500,000 are estimated to have died in Saddam’s needless war with Iran. Coldly taken as a daily average for the 24 years of Saddam’s reign, these numbers give us a horrifying picture of between 70 and 125 civilian deaths per day for every one of Saddam’s 8,000-odd days in power”]]

[[Here’s the reality: It is extremely difficult to know if there has been a rise in persecution of Christians in Iraq since 2003, because only now, after Saddam, are Iraqi Christians free to report attacks in a free press, a]]

[[Most significant, when not targeted for their faith, Iraqi Christians were targeted for their mere humanity. In the general sweep of things, Iraqi Christians were just as likely as Iraqi Muslims to have their children locked up in dog cages, to have their wives raped or beheaded or hung upside down in front of their family as they menstruated (an interrogation technique under Saddam), to have their ears surgically amputated for refusing military conscription, to be subjected to chemical baths or the attachment of electrodes to their genitals, to be fed feet first into large industrial meat grinders, or to be lynched from lampposts. Christians were among the 300,000 to 1,000,000 Iraqis shot and shoveled into mass graves.]]

“it wouldn’t have happened if Saddam Hussein was still around. An inconvenient truth, but the truth nonetheless.”

Who knows who Saddam would have chosen to kill next. But Saddam was so much better than the Obama created terrorists and mass murderers.

Christians were still relatively safe until Obama took over. That is when the genocide began.

Obama is probably offended that this article presents the genocide was more gradual instead of giving him credit for the vast majority of the damage in his 7+ years holding power.

This would not have happened without the support of the Obama administration.

You mean it wouldn't have happened without George W. Bush and the neocons who pulled his strings. Most of the FReepers who warned against it were hounded without mercy and eventually purged. It was an ugly time.

Christians were relatively safe until Obama came into office. That is when the genocide began.

There were bombings of churches before Obama, I know.

But the forcing of Christians out of their homes and the widespread rape and murder of Christians and Yazidis did not occur until Obama became president.

This is just the current attempt by Muslims to exterminate Christ’s church. It will appear to succeed through their mass slaughter of Christians (read about the Muslim butcher Saladin), but there will always be a remnent of Christ’s people alive to witness to God’s plan of salvation for those He has elected to save. As Jesus promises,”the gates of hell will not prevail” against His church.

Today’s Saddam fans are quite naive and choose not to remember the past. There was good evidence that he was involved with the first World Trade Center bombing, and 9/11. He buried much of his atomic bomb material, fully intending to resurrect that program as soon as possible. It is likely that he would have long since have had nuclear weapons.

According to Georges Sada he used Christians to find out what was really going on. He knew that Moslems would tell him what he wanted to know or lie to cover their asses, but that Christians would tell the truth.
