Yes it is ostensibly Catholic.

This is disturbing on another level, considering that Marquette is at least nominally Catholic. So, we’re saying you can’t express the view that marriage is a man and a woman at a Catholic institution, when the Catholic church itself defines marriage as a man and a woman????

I am afraid the term “Catholic Universities” has become an oxymoron.

Thankfully, I went to good Catholic schools way back when.

it is not a catholic university, it is a Jesuit university. Remember the Jesuits, the old white guy in the Vatican is a Jesuit. Enough said
