“How would Cruz and Kasich know if he is innocent or guilty? Shouldn’t this matter be left to the police?”

Police don't decide innocence or guilt. That is for the courts.

But the article documents several lies and a conspiracy to make false accusations against Lewandowski.

The media dishonestly went after Lewandowski. When the media lie to get someone arrested it is time to show some integrity.

The courts decide innocence or guilt if it gets to them. In plenty of cases, police DO decide, because it ends before it even gets to court. Criminal cases don't magically appear in court. They have to go through law enforcement an prosecutors first.
