I voted for Trump, but I hate seeing all the attacks on Cruz. He was a pretty solid conservative IMO.

When you hold yourself out as a leader for a moral cause, you should expect to be held to a higher standard.

The fact that someone so smart as Ted did not understand this, and control his behavior accordingly, tells me his self-control is not as strong as required by his political positions. That is quite unwise, and is a strike against an otherwise very conservative candidate who I support.

The problem with having stuff hidden, is that it makes one vulnerable to blackmail. I think MOST politicians in DC are "compromised" on one thing or another.

I don't think the Establishment likes having someone around who they cannot destroy if he "gets out of line". That's one big reason why I think Trump frightens the Establishment. Yes, he's had sex with a number of women, but he's not blackmailable over it, because he's come clean about his affairs.

You fell for the pony tricks.

Cruz did nothing but advance globalist agenda items.

But the pony tricks were fun to watch, for the flock of geese who think that’s enough. Remember that 21 hour filibuster? Ghack!

The geese loved it. Then it was back to work for the Establishment/Union agenda, cussing them all the way. LOL!

“He was a pretty solid conservative IMO.”

Was is the operative word here, he is thrown in with the establishment, and is now a bought and paid for country club elitist.

Who needs him, why vote for him?

MNDude You are right Curz WAS, conservative, but WAIT, he’s been a revolving door politician every since he finished law school. He’ll do anything to stay in the government halls and on the government’s payroll. HE HAS NOT YET COMPLETED HIS COMMITMENT TO THE CITIZENS OF TEXAS WHO PUT HIM IN THE SENATE. He’s too busy campaigning and denying ?. That tells me a whole lot of Ted’s “word of honor”.
