A former strategist for a pro-Donald Trump Super PAC claimed in a shocking column that even the GOP front-runner himself was surprised at his electoral success and never had any real intention of being President.
In a blunt essay published Monday on the XOJane blog, Stephanie Cegielski said Trump had simply aimed to position himself as a "protest" candidate and was grossly unprepared to become commander-in-chief.
"I don't think even Trump thought he would get this far. And I don't even know that he wanted to, which is perhaps the scariest prospect of all," wrote Cegielski, former communications director for the Trump-aligned "Make America Great Again" Super PAC.

“She knows nothing about Mr. Trump or the campaign and her disingenuous and factually inaccurate statements in no way resemble any shred of truth,” a spokeswoman said. “This is yet another desperate person looking for their fifteen minutes.”
“Trump never intended to be the candidate. But his pride is too out of control to stop him now.”
Cegieslki went on to say she’s convinced Trump “doesn’t want the White House.”
“He certainly was never prepared or equipped to go all the way to the White House, but his ego has now taken over the driver’s seat, and nothing else matters,” added Cegielski in her column published five months after the “Make America Great Again” PAC was shuttered.

Typical misleading MSM headline. The person in question did not work for Trump, but instead worked for some sort of PAC.
Heck, I've even talked about Trump with a group of friends. So I suppose I'm a "Trump strategist" as well.
There’s a reason she is a former strategist, and not a current strategist.
I love how all these talking heads on TV are labeled “Republican strategist” or Democrat strategist”.
I guess “political hack” does not sound as good.
The PAC was created without Trumps knowledge, as soon as it came to light he snnounced he didn’t want or need a PAC.
She was in no way connected to Trump or his campaign.
I mean, this works both ways, doesn't it? Good for the goose, good for the gander.
I think Trump can “phone in” a presidency from his jet a lot better that the muslim has done from the golf course.
Now Donald is faced with the reality show he really didnt expect. His ability to grow into his role will quickly determine if it will be a hit or a flop.
Cue up the Trump supporters that will come on here calling her a bimbo, Cruz plant, Democrat, Lesbian, etc... in 3...2....1....

She then goes to the media to smear Trump.
The media helps her to smear Trump and says she was a "strategist" and close associate of Trump.
Someone beat me to trashing her even before I could post it! I wonder how much the Trump supporters are hating on Ann Coulter right now. You couldn’t find a stronger supporter of Trump than Coulter. She’s been defending him for many months, but she is pissed at him about the tweet of Cruz’s wife saying something to the effect that our candidate is like a 15 year old child. It didn’t sound like she’s off the bandwagon, but she sounds mad. If she jumps off the bandwagon, I’m sure the Trump supporters will say she was never actually on it. She was a Cruz supporter the whole time, kind of like when the wrester turns from good guy to heal....
