The Department of Just-us stalling.
I find this puzzling. Hillary is going to win the primaries hands down since the deck is stacked in her favor and the Democrat establishment wants no part of Sanders. But if she loses the general by some strange act of God, the next DOJ will prosecute. So if the Dept. of Just-us goes ahead and indicts. She would almost have to dropout. Uncle Joe then steps in with Lizzy Warren as VP. That would please the socialist wing of the party. But Obama might veto her as VP. He is very much into minority firsts and while she ould be the first woman elected Vice President, she would not be the first American Indian. Charles Curtis of “Bucket of Spit, only he did not say spit” fame beat her to that one.
Anyway Biden and Warren would probably be at least a 90-10 favorite to be elected and continue Obama’s legacy.
any way I find it curious that they would be stalling.
Hillary as "damaged goods" will get 25 to 35% of the vote in the general election.
The die hard Dems who will vote for her "no matter what" are inclusive in that category.
That would mean the Republican candidate would win in a walk with 65 to 75% of the vote.
A recommendation of indictment and depending on the charges would put her seriously into the "damage goods" department.
Oh, wait...
Did hillary take bill off the campaign trail before he insulted obama one more time and they turned on hillary and sicked the DOJ on her? This government is as bad as any out there. I saw the pictures of Brazilians march on socialism... when are we going to see that snake trail march on Washington...
I think that’s fine, it could become a big election issue. Democrats who vote for Hillary support corruption, those who vote for Trump believe in the rule of law
Interesting. I never realized that “bucket of spit” had been a sanitized version of the quote.
You learn something new here every day (although sometimes of dubious practical value).
You funny!
delay and a quarter will get you a dime.
You can’t indict a sitting President, you can Impeach them. But then again I’m not sure that a pardon, which HRC can grant to herself upon taking office, would prevent an Impeachment, since that is not punishment, merely removal from office. Let’s hope we don’t have to find out.
Team Zero Lynch will stall on indictment in retaliation for Senate Republicans ‘stalling’ on confirmation of 0dunga’s SCOTUS pick. Who didn’t see THIS coming?
I hate to break this to you, but one of the reasons that there is so much concern about Trump as the nominee for the GOP is that Hillary winning by 7-8 points could lead to an annihilation in the Senate and the House. So it might not be Paul Ryan calling the shots. even if the House did not turn, the Senate is much more likely, and that is where impeachment is tried (or, not really tried, as occurred in 1999.)
You are off by the facts that the election is in November 2016 and a new President is not sworn in until January 2017.
I hate to break it to you, but you really need to read up on the Constitution of the US.
Delay says they’ll delay?
If they stall just a bit, then Trump’s DOJ can go after her. Good.
Hillary will claim the FBI controlled by right- wing nuts, and the media will back her up and say what she did was merely a mistake, not worth of prosecution....and idiot Americans will lick it up.
Easy now. He is already hard at work on compiling impeachment information...oh but on Donald Trump.
“Would anyone actually want to vote for someone for president knowing that the FBI has recommended a criminal indictment?”
You seriously underestimate a majority of Democrats.
That was “Cactus Jack” Garner of Texas a Roosevelt VP. He actually said “warm bucket of p1$$” but the papers would not print it.
Would anyone actually want to vote for someone for president knowing that the FBI has recommended a criminal indictment?
Democrats are that dumb and they would.
