I’m not too sure if a wall would work, but making it a felony to employ an illegal or rent an apartment to an illegal sure as hell would. I’m assuming Trump will consider those things as well besides building a wall. Money is an incredibly effective deterrent. I mean why not? From what I can tell Mexico uses that. If you overstay your visa they charge you $75 bucks per day. Compare that to illegal alien and vocal Trump critic Jorge Ramos who overstayed his visa by 20 years. Why is this punk in the country making a living?
Excellent idea. You'd have to first fight the strong headwind of vocal advocates for illegals who say that deporting them / enforcing employment sanctions against them is "racist" or "nonhumanitarian" on "unChristian" or whatever. Once you get past those obstacles, great. I'd love to see it happen.
