There are stories of Mexican doctors in very hard times doing menial cross-border jobs, and that was a rational decision at different historical junctures.
When you can cross and imaginary line and instantly get a 300 percent raise.....This isn’t too complex.
Is it really less? After I get raked over the coals with taxes and other deductions, I make a lot less than advertised. Illegals work tax-free and don’t pay anything for the benefits they receive.

Many of them work for cash, and that is on top of Food stamps, Section 8 housing and zillions of other little benefits, the latest proposal for which is “The Diaper Divide”.
I heard somewhere that between 1/3 and 1/2 the population of Los Angeles County works ONLY for cash, totally off the books.

Maybe the WSJ should hire illegals for journalism work. What do you need to know to be a journalist who writes the propaganda we see?
Once they receive amnesty and—more importantly—the right to vote, the minimum wage will go through the roof, the value of the dollar will plummet even further, and we’ll truly be in the socialist dystopia our “betters” dream of.
That is an argument for tossing them out.
