The Bombers Who Weren't
SOTT ^ | 3/28/16

Words fail us. Well, not really. Here are some words: BS, Farce, Con job, Sham, Travesty, Mockery. We could go on, but those should suffice for now to describe the official narrative around the Brussels bombings last week.

Suicide bombers, they told us, were behind the blasts in the airport and metro station. Yet a preponderance of lower leg injuries at both sites argued strongly for bombs that were placed on the floor, not attached to the chest of some wild-eyed jihadi of the type that appears only in the best wet dreams of NATO officials.

But we have proof! Don't we? Video evidence even! We all saw the footage of the bombers as they nonchalantly pushed their baggage carts through the airport just before detonating their 'vests' and considerately leaving a few behind in a trash can for good measure (and authorities' ease in establishing a narrative from the get-go). Three guys, two dressed in black and a third with a hat, glasses and white coat. That's them! Those two in black, they suicide bombed themselves and the third one got cold feet at the last minute and put his bomb in a suitcase and took off. The 'authorities' later found him and arrested him; they'll certainly make him spill the beans. Right?

Excellent point! If they were so sure to arrest the guy but now let him go , how do we know the other two were bombers?

Gee, I don’t know, maybe they were in the carts they were pushing...

Whether it is chest-height or at floor-level when it detonates...nobody wishes to be near such a horrible device wielded by terrorists.
Authors of articles should not get too wrapped-up in details of the hardware. It is radicalized Islamic jihadists who wish us grievously injured or dead.

For an airport, their choice of device makes sense. Why wear a suicide vest that might stand out when you can push a cart around, just like everybody else, and pack more explosives in it.

That is a very good tactical and hide-in-plain-sight point, USNBandit.
A child can push a 200-pound airport cart, not so easy to have that same load draped across shoulders.

I never heard that it was suicide vests. I thought it was their luggage.

Because unless the photo is faked, the two on the left are wearing a black glove on their left hand, have that hand over the post, and there is a black cord running down the post to the presumed bomb.

The shot doesn't show the details of what i described; it's all over the web.
