Federal prosecutors investigating the possible mishandling of classified materials on Hillary Clinton’s private email server have begun the process of setting up formal interviews with some of her longtime and closest aides, according to two people familiar with the probe, an indication that the inquiry is moving into its final phases.
Those interviews and the final review of the case, however, could still take many weeks, all but guaranteeing that the investigation will continue to dog Clinton’s presidential campaign through most, if not all, of the remaining presidential primaries.
No dates have been set for questioning the advisors, but a federal prosecutor in recent weeks has called their lawyers to alert them that he would soon be doing so, the sources said. Prosecutors also are expected to seek an interview with Clinton herself, though the timing remains unclear.

I find it cryptically strange that Drudge would link this particular article by the LA Times to his red headline.
The article clearly makes the case for paving the path for Hillary’s innocence.

Several of the lawyers involved in Clinton’s case are familiar with the differences. Petraeus’ defense lawyer was Kendall, who also represents Clinton. And a prosecutor helping oversee the Clinton email investigation was part of the team that obtained Petraeus’ guilty plea.

She will tell the FBI that she already answered these questions on the campaign trail and at this point what difference does it make. DOJ will concur.

And after that, if she wins, nothing will come of it. If she loses, nothing will come of it since no one will care.

Here’s how this will go down.
Her lawyers will be with her.
She will be read her Miranda rights. She will probably be asked to sign a statement that she has been read and understands her rights.
Feds will then ask her questions two types of questions. There will be questions they already know the answers to. The purpose here is to let her know they already know so much, that she is SOL and see if she tries to lie her way out of it, as lying to a Fed is a crime itself.
Of course, a sub set of this will be a few questions they do not know the answers to, but she won’t know which is which, so she will think they know it all.
Uncertainly is a bitch.
All this is to get admissions from her personally of the elements of crimes, did certain people have her authority to do certain things, did she attend a security briefing, did she see/send/receive this certain email, did she know Sid Vicious had no clearance, etc.
Secondly will be Colombo type questions, “Can you help us understand why....” This is to get on the record as to why something happened, why she did something, that she has no explanation of this, the “you say xxx, but if that’s true, please help us understand why would Mr. ______, who you previously said had your authority, have told us ZZZZZZ.”
If it gets into Foundation stuff, she will know she is screwed, because they wouldn’t go there without a firm foundation to do do.
Finally, the 5th is not a real option for her. It would leak in 1 hour and the public, especially the swing voters would say... “See, we knew she is a crook. Only crooks do that.”
The fact that they are “interviewing” someone in her position is proof they already have something... and Obama has not killed it.
He will not kill it, because as soon as she is out, Biden/Warren are in to continue the “Obama legacy.”

Info went from a SCIF to Blumenthal to Hillary. A lot was classified. There are going to be some asses nailed to the wall that fully deserve it. When done, the Rosenberg trial will look like kids play.
Do you do this for a living?
Much of the article obfuscates the fact that classified information was removed to an authorized location. I served in nuclear submarines. If I took notes of classified material and removed it from the submarine, I would have been found guilty of mishandling classified information.
HRC and her aides were privy to classified information which was disclosed in emails and stored in an unauthorized location.
