I don’t think governing any of those countries would be an easy safe proposition.

Part of what made Egypt more Westernized IMO, is having to deal with the Arabs on the West Bank and Gaza.

We often think of them as solely Israel’s problem. No, Egypt has to deal with them too. They are a threat to Egypt too.

That sort of thing will sober you up real quick.
