Another of Trump’s advantages: we know he’s done immoral things, he knows we know, and he’s not going to drop out just because someone brings it up.
(Not saying it’s good, just that he’s not scared by mud slinging.)
Trump made no pretense of false purity. Ted, also known as "The face of God", cynically manipulated religious voters with his carefully crafted pious facade. Ted is exposed as a hypocrite.

More importantly, Trump cannot be blackmailed by his sexual escapades. But a Bible thumpin’ Cruz, perhaps a different story (if the allegations prove true).
