If I want to listen to an avowed Atheist attacking Islam, I’d rather listen to Pat Condell.
No one of the far left listens to Pat Condell. But they listen to Bill Maher. And Maher has been strong and consistent on this issue. I recall watching one of his shows on YouTube where he was talking about the dangers of Islam. One of his guests gave him an opening to soften his remarks. Maher wouldn't take the bait. He stuck to his main point: Islam is dangerous.
Sure, most libs are like ostriches with their
heads in the sand. But if Maher keeps at it, he just might educate a few of them.
I think Maher believes that all religions are dangerous and that Islam is the most dangerous by far.
As opposed to the Left, that encourages Islam because they only hate Christianity.
You're right about that. But Maher will not hedge on the issue like all other libs do.
Typical lib: Islam has its problems, but the Christians started the Crusades.
Maher: Islam has problems, big problems. Period.
Side note: If anyone would have told me 5 years ago that I'd be praising Bill Maher about anything, I would have called them crazy.
