I saw a great quote on this.

Either you elect a Trump today, or tomorrow you may get a Pinochet.

I have to admit it really summed it up starkly.

"Either you elect a Trump today, or tomorrow you may get a Pinochet"

I'll see your Pinochet and raise you a Franco.

But, in all honesty, I would rather have either than Hillary.

I’s sure the constitutional, consistent conservative now embrace the Bush crime family. It’s all about the kool aid, you know?

The Bush's are evil for decades

Once the government had its hands on Bush's books, the whole story of the intricate web of Nazi front corporations began to unravel. A few days later two of Union Banking's subsidiaries -- the Holland American Trading Corporation and the Seamless Steel Equipment Corporation -- also were seized. Then the government went after the Harriman Fifteen Holding Company, which Bush shared with his father-in-law, Bert Walker, the Hamburg-Amerika Line, and the Silesian-American Corporation. The U.S. government found that huge sections of Prescott Bush's empire had been operated on behalf of Nazi Germany and had greatly assisted the German war effort."

Oh what a tangled web we weave. Is it the lady or the tiger? The decision had best be made wisely, after heavy thought. It may be our final decision before the lights go out never to be seen again.

This and many other things represent the BEGINNING of a TRUE conservative take over of the Republican Party. The low-IQ, low-information and deranged elements here may not recognize it and, unfortunately, may actually attemp to oppose it.

Wow...it didn’t take long for the STUPID and LACK-OF-DISCERNMENT elements to show up and attack this.

If this is true, why did Ted Cruz hire RON NEHRING - the man who tried to kill the Tea Party - as his national spokesman????

Yes, I’d say they do. All the spinning of this by Cruz fans is laughable. Bottom line - Cruz = amnesty. EVERY ONE of these freaks standing behind him are ALL IN for amnesty.

What Cruz faces now:

Trump will block Cruz from getting 1237 delegates, when he obtains only 105 more for himself.

More support statistics

“I don’t think anyone really cares anything about Jeb...”

But Cruz cares about Jeb Bush voters. And Kasich voters. And Rubio voters. And the supporters of Carson,Gilmore, Christie, Fiorina, Santorum, Paul, Huckabee, Pataki, Graham, Jindal, Walker, and Perry.

And, yes, Cruz wants to get the support of Trump voters and Clinton voters and Sanders voters. That's just the way politics works but a constitutional conservative will not compromise principles and give donations to the Clintons to get her support or the support of Clinton voters.

I know you are not going to understand what I have written.

If Trump secures the nomination, he will be going hard for the support of Cruz and the Cruz voters you hate so much.

Hide and watch.

Jeb gives the Cruz campaign the balance it needs — Cruz has long been considered by many to be too conservative and unlikeable to win, but Jeb clearly disagrees with that sentiment and sees a true winner.

In spite all the negative things one could say about Jeb Bush, we ought to be able to admit that he's not looking to jump on the likely winner's bandwagon. You can call it spite or hatred or folly or his own bad luck or high principle, but he's not afraid to back a losing effort.

Let’s add a little fun to this thread about Ted:

IS TED CRUZ THE ‘NORTH AMERICAN UNION’ CANDIDATE?

Lots of info and videos at the link.

Have fun!

Oh, and if someone wants to take this and make a new thread with it, go for it!

I'm so glad I don't oblige HotGas anymore. They are complete sell-outs for the Republican establishment.

The only reason Rafael is being supported is to stop Trump. That's it. They are not supporting him for President.

It’s a ploy, appealing to Cruz’s vanity, with the object of thwarting Trump. Once Trump has been blocked Cruz will be discarded and the Uniparty-R will install whomever they wish, perhaps Paul Ryan, hand-picked by Boehner.
