Paris and London Four months ago, in the aftermath of the deadly Paris attacks, there was widespread agreement among European leaders that the continents intelligence agencies needed to share more information to prevent radicals future attacks.
Today, the disconnect between intelligence agencies still gapes. According to Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Turkish authorities deported Brussels attack suspect Ibrahim el-Bakraoui to the Netherlands last summer and warned Belgium of his terrorist ties. Yet Bakraoui, a Belgian national, was released without charge. He is believed to have been a suicide bomber in Tuesday's attacks in Brussels which left more than 30 people dead and hundreds injured.
The inability of Europe's security agencies to cooperate on terrorism reveals just how difficult it is proving to overcome international jealousy over intelligence, despite shared interests. Unlike a common energy policy, or even a common currency, sharing intelligence or defense capabilities cuts to the heart of national sovereignty.

It’s not really in the nature of intelligence agencies to talk to each other. Their job is distrust, any of them that are good at it don’t talk.

Intelligence is less of an issue than their lack of national will to act.
I’ve posted here many times, Europe has fallen to Islam.
The real story is why dont they deport and reject all muslims from coming into their countries. Relying on so called intelligence, to keep you safe, is indeed the opposite of intelligence.
I think the best comparsion to what’s happening in Europe right now was when Ancient Rome had fallen to the Barbarians.
It’s not just Europe. The Russkies tried to warn us about the Tsarnaevs, but we wouldn’t listen.
