"On November 7th, 2015 Yale students disrupted a William F. Buckly event."

I would think that his death in 2008 would have disrupted this event first....

The fifth annual William F. Buckley Jr. Conference on the Future of Free Speech was disrupted. Put on by the The William F. Buckley, Jr. Program at Yale . They appear not to be too successful encouraging diversity of thought, at least at Yale.

Good article. This is the truth you don’t see in the MSM, ever. They pretend the violence is prompted by the speaker. Sadly, even candidates on our side capitalize on the ignorance of the public and parrot this, blaming the “incindiary rhetoric” of their opponents for the leftist violence. It has gotten to the point where the left now silences not only to conservative speakers, but even (as recent events at Emory prove) mere mention of the name of an opposition candidate, in this case Donald Trump. The phrase “Trump in 2016” chalked on the sidewalk was deemed offensive and hateful, and the university folded, agreeing to root out such awful behavior.

The left will attempt to violently disrupt the Cleveland republican convention, you can bet the farm on that. Will Ohio governor Kasich (now embarked upon a campaign designed only to prevent both Trump and Cruz from becoming the nominee) take steps to control the violence, when violence might further his aims? Would the democrat mayor of Cleveland do so?

Kasich has already refused to answer whether he will use the national guard to guarantee the safety of convention goers. The city has received a 50 million dollar grant to handle the convention. Will they actually use that money to prevent violence and guarantee the safety of convention delegates? Has the Cleveland police department, like most big city departments, been neutered to the degree that they will be unable or unwilling to prevent violent disruptions? I’m not at all hopeful.

To the self appointed posting police: there appear to be two possibilities, the date should read 2005, OR the 2015 event was an event, as in a memorial.
