Just got back from my caucus... My head is still spinning.
Check in was slow but reasonably controlled. Super-long lines. I've never seen turnout like this.
Got my credentials, but no presidential ballot. They said those would be delivered to our caucus room.
Got to my caucus room. I counted about 120 people there (no idea how many were actually registered and credentialed).
We elected Precinct Officers, State Delegates, and County Delegates - the typical incompetence and ignorance of the rules you'd expect to see from volunteers, but all went somewhat smooth.
...Then came the Presidential Ballot.
Someone shows up with a stack of probably 250 ballots. The precinct chair splits them up, and starts handing stacks of them out and tells people "take one and pass it down".
No checking credentials, IDs, NOTHING.
I'm sitting at the end of a row and people start handing me stacks of extras. I literally had over 50 ballots in my hand.

We were told to mark our vote and place our ballot in a tin can. They then asked for a volunteer to hold the can. At this point, most people filed out the door.
I cast ONE vote, then stuck around to see what would happen with the votes.
About 15 minutes later, with only about 10 or so people milling around, someone walks in the room with an envelopes STUFFED full of "absentee" ballots - some envelopes having 2-5+ ballots.
I raised a question and said, "isn't there an absentee process already in place? Didn't people have to register for that last week?" and was told "Oh no, this is completely normal".
As I've mentioned in other threads, I was in Party leadership for 6 years and no, this is absolutely not normal.
I then asked if I could observe the vote count, and I was told my observations where not needed and to leave the area while the ballots were being counted.
I left the room (things were already a complete Charlie Foxtrot at this point) and wandered over to my friends precinct caucus to see if it was just as much a cluster.
His caucus was just getting to the presidential ballot, and as I walked in the door I was handed ANOTHER BALLOT.
Again, no credential check, no ID check, NOTHING.
No, I didn't vote again...
I went back to my precinct and they had the results: 74% Cruz 14% Trump 11% Kasich
Now just imagine this kind of outright incompetence/manipulation happening in 2000 precincts across the state.
As I left the building, I started overhearing results coming back from other precincts... Overwhelmingly numbers for Cruz... Like 70-90% or more. (In one precinct Cruz got around 100, Trump had 2, Kasich 0)
Bottom line... They basically are going to post whatever the hell numbers they want.
There were no apparent controls, no credential checks, no ID checks, and ballots being handed around like napkins.
UTAH RESULTS ARE A COMPLETE SHAM
And it just cost Trump 40 delegates.
Maybe I don’t get it. Most Mormons are mad at Trump because he didn’t like the unprecedented personal nature of Mitt’s attacks upon Trump.
Maybe they should re-read what Mitt said.
And what did Trump say, Mitt didn’t go on Letterman and Leno and disappeared to build his 9 car garage and let Obama a failed President win. Its all True
Maybe many Mormons don’t think Mitt Choked, but its a fair opinion many of us share.
I had great respect for most Mormons, we are upset with Mitt going after our front runner like he did. After all my point is that he should be a candidate if he wants to tee off on Trump. Mitt should be in the game and then its appropriate to attack. Otherwise STFU Romney. Mitts father did the same thing only he was running for in a campaign not attacking from the sidelines, blindsiding.
This is not an attack at all on Mormons, don’t you Mormons see Mitt not Mormons is being attacked?
Does that mean Republicans like him the least of all?

A bombshell report shows that the technology to conduct web-based voting comes from Smartmatic Group, which is based in England. Currently, the chairman of Smartmatic is Lord Mark Malloch-Brown, who also is on the board of billionaire liberal Geroge Soros’ Open Society Foundation and has personal ties to the billionaire.
More than a half-million dollars have been donated to Ohio Governor John Kasich’s Super PAC from Soros-related hedge fund managers.
Mitt Romney won Utah not Lyin Ted.
In contrast to our Republican caucus in Nevada, everything was in good order. ID was checked, you signed in for your ballot, your ballot was carefully handled, and you were free to stay if you wanted to. And in this honest open careful process, Trump won about 45% of the vote.
And if Cruz tolerates this, he is most certainly not a Christian and not a believer in our constitution. And for any Cruz True Believers, you are the ones who are deceived, you are the ones in a cult. You have nothing but a lie.
The same link is currently up on Drudge. There are dozens of other reports already circulating where the same type of experience was reported in many other sites. This is something that is going to take off and further the Lyin’ Ted cheater narrative. It will cost the campaign a lot of delegates. It also puts Mormon leadership and character in a very bad light.
In Maine the process was tainted as well. Polls showed Trump up big. The Gov. of Maine endorse Trump, he had a huge rally.
Trump lost by 3,000 or so votes. Lyin Ted is a cheat.
Rubio, Carson, Kasich and Trump have all called him a liar.
Just yesterday Kasich called ted a liar, saying he wasn’t going to be on the NY ballot. Ted said by then Kasich would drop out. Very much like he did to Carson.
Trump is involved with a slimy lawyer here, Nixon Cruz at work.
Was he on that ballot too?
Is there any low they wont go.
Ted Bush? Now that’s desperate.
Next, the death throws will be “he’s the antichrist”
And I wouldn’t put it past “He slept with Hillary”
Desperate people do strange things.
The next obvious desperate act will be
“It’s Ted Cruz that’s desperate”.

Look Victor, there are other reports as well; this is just the first which is starting to get media attention. This story probably has legs... we will see. It plays directly into a previous narrative that started in Iowa and has been a strong undercurrent working against the Cruz campaign ever since.
For whatever reason there was almost no oversight or media attention in Utah which may have allowed some locations to get lax and this was the inevitable result. Whether or not there is a direct link to the Cruz campaign is nearly irrelevant. The story is going to reinforce the perception that Raphael Jr. is a liar and a cheat.

First of all, my neighbor and I went, and it was cold, windy and had been snowing off and on all day...we had to park 6 blocks away, that many people...
When we finally got up to line, some really nice people told us to go ahead of them all the way to the front of the line, I'm 71 and she's 75..so we did, we get inside, people are yelling about the ‘online voting’ they didn't receive their pin numbers, they can't vote, blah, blah, blah...
Then we are also handed a pile of voter forms, pass them on, the lady says...no ID, nothing, you could have taken 25 of the forms if you wanted to...we filled them out, went to the table and the lady said, just put them in the box, a regular card board box, wide open, we tore off the receipt, thanked everyone for helping us out, and left...
This is NO way to run an election folks, voter fraud up the butt and they don't care, they are right out there with it...there was talk of the events of the day in Brussels, how this Country is going to be over run with ISIS, what a POS obuma is, and when I commented how great Trump would be as POTUS, I got dirty looks, one guy said ‘oh well when you get old, you don't think right’...right, I should have kicked him in the you know whats its...
Terrible, don't ask Utah for votes anymore, these Mormons are dumber than last years bird's nests...they are not even cleared eyed, if you know what I mean...forget Utah, bury Utah, erase it from the map, it's no good to anyone!!!
As soon as Ted get the Bush’s to a brokered convention they will dump him and make Jeb or Romney the nominee.
This is the third posting of this article today. There have not been any other reports of this problem, although there have been a couple of references using this same article as their basis. It has been posted, word for word, under at least three different bylines. It is total BS.
