What took her so long?
Hispanics make up 43% of students in AZ. Granted many are legal but there’s a lot who are illegal. 47% of all students are on the reduced/free lunch program. IOW, half the people are having to pay for the other half. That’s very close to the tipping point.
Looks like NPR is getting their money’s worth from their crack reporters on a story that happened on February 27th. We can only hope their other election reporting is as timely, say for the election in December.
The legal Hispanics know this far better than our general populace.
