Lebanon was supposed to be a place for ME Christians.
Lebanon was a predominately Christian nation in the not to distant past.
They are a minority now.
What I believe has kept the remaining Lebanese Christians from being massacred by the Sunni Muslims, is the Shia Muslims and the Druze would also be targets of the Sunnis, so those three minorities are bound together, and that slows down the inevitable wholesale slaughter of the remaining Christians in Lebanon by the fundamental Sunnis.
