Soros-linked Jewish PAC will intervene in Senate races for first time

A progressive Jewish political action committee with ties to the son of Democratic Party mega-donor George Soros is intervening in Senate races for the first time, endorsing Rep. Tammy Duckworth of Illinois and former Sen. Russ Feingold of Wisconsin.

The endorsements from Bend the Arc Jewish Action PAC will involve fundraising support from the group, which makes direct payments to candidates running for office. It will also marshal what are known as “conduit” payments, linking its network of donors to the group's favored candidates.

“As American Jews, we’re disturbed by the dark turn American political discourse has taken in recent months, and deeply concerned about where our country will end up if we elect leaders who keep pushing us down this path,” said Alex Soros, a major donor to Bend the Arc Jewish Action PAC.

“That’s why we’re doing everything we can to help elect leaders this November who will inspire all Americans and move our country forward.

“In the Senate, that means electing leaders like Tammy Duckworth and Russ Feingold, leaders who will advance immigration reform, racial justice, and other priorities on the domestic progressive agenda that matter most to our community.”

Soros's father, the hedge fund billionaire George Soros, has already given at least $8 million to outside groups supporting Hillary Clinton, but his son's activities through Bend the Arc are focused on congressional races.

support should be proof that your post is moot at best.
Besides what are you going to do if Trump wins?

The problem is that all this goes back to WWII. Most of those
Jews fleeing Nazi Germany were fleeing persecution not
national socialism. They were then and still remain, to this
day, devout died in the wool socialists. Soros, who actually
worked with the Nazi’s in locating and confiscating Jewish
wealth somehow escaped prosecution for war crimes. He himself is a died in the wool socialist and one of the
Jewish leaders in the push for a socialist America.

Wrong wave of Jewish refugees, but I understand the point.

The earlier wave, prior the raise of Nazis (say from 1880 to 1925), were generally socialist. They were poor and largely economic migrants.

Jews fleeing Germany/France during WWII (such as my parents) included socialists, of course, (after all, they came from Europe), but are much more right. This second wave were successful persons who had businesses and professions and were doing well in Germany — they only fled because of the Nazis. They were not economic migrants.

My father was a Barry Goldwater man, for example, and fought in Vietnam (and Israel in 1967, where he met my mom).

As an American Jew, I’m WAY MORE than disturbed that a Nazi collaborator like Soros is even ALLOWED to have anything to do with influencing American elections. I don’t often say this, but I will not mourn when the Grim Reaper comes for that scumbag.
