Explain the facts of life to your new college graduate millenials, who expect to get out of school and waltz into a $65K per year job and be on easy street.

Tell them at least half of that goes to taxes in one form or another, so you are left with 32K.

Then housing will take 1.5K a month when you add up rent or mortgage, gas, electricity, water, taxes, etc etc.. leaving about $12K, or $1000 a month...

Now that groceries are twice what they were when Obama was elected you spend $300 every 2 weeks.

So you are left with about $500 a month spending money, which is $0 if you by that nice car you want when you graduate....

They expect to have $65k to SPEND and buy a $30k car and have $35K left over for the new mcMansion...

It hard to watch the sadness on their faces when they realize they will blow that $65K on mostly taxes
