looks to me like Roger is right and has an important message for Trump and his people]

BTW if GOPE screws Trump at the convention it is too late for Trump to run 3rd party

This is a big problem and the ultimate last ditch strategy of the GOPe to stop Trump.

if there is a clear primary winner and the GOP-e’s (Obama enablers almost all) steal the nomination, they will elect Hillary (indeed, this will be the only way I think Hillary has any chance of becoming President).

hopefully, these Obama-enablers can be stopped from inflicting any such additional damage on America!

The last time Roger Stone tried to interfere with a GOP convention, he and his wife at the time, set up an organization dedicated to removing the pro-life plank in the RNC Platform (Republicans for Choice). I know, because I was a part of the organization that opposed his effort. We won and the pro-life plank stayed intact much to Roger Stone’s dismay. In fact, the Republican pro-life plank gets even stronger every four years.

The party would be over if they pulled that sort of bs.

Stone is a trickster. He sows seeds of doubt and paranoia. He has a tattoo of Nixon for a reason.

I’m not sure I take everything Roger Stone says at face value. If he really heard this secretly, why would he reveal it publicly? Why not just share the intel privately with the Trump campaign? What are the chances now that Stone will be able to listen to the next conference call if he really did listen in to this one?

They have chosen the instrument of their destruction, and it is Trump.

Trump doesn't have to win the nomination; he doesn't need to run third party.

He just has to start one.

This is nothing new - I've been saying this since after SC - just because the delegates are pledged to vote for you on the first ballot doesn't mean they have to be your supporters, or that they are required to vote the way you want on anything else. That is why the Cruz campaign still has people working in all of the states that have already voted, to to try to make sure the people who are selected as delegates are people that support him, regardless of who they must vote for on the first ballot.

Stone is trying to make this out to be a big conspiracy, but politicians already know how this game is played and are ready for it. It is all within the rules. That can be the problem with having a true "outsider" - if he doesn't know how to play the game, he may get outmaneuvered.

The party kingmakers may have the votes to knee-cap Trump in the rules and credentials committees...

A typical Credentials Committee delegate.

The system is stacked in favor of the establishment - no doubt. Trump is like the one-punch knockout boxer. You know you’re not going to win if it goes to the judges scorecards so you really need that KO.

Never, ever cross a billionaire with a dirty deal like this.

He can buy the house next to yours and turn it into a total eyesore. You might not need to sell this year, but when you do, you could take a huge hit. And it is perfectly legal.

If these delegates don’t know this already, they will before any votes are taken.

Just one of a thousand ways a big guy can get back at a little guy who screwed him.

“GOP hear me on this! I’m voting for Donald Trump for President this November, as the R nominee or as a write in if I have to. If I have to do a write in vote because of dirty tricks at the convention, I’ll do so, but then I’m going to vote a straight Dem ticket on the rest of my ballot.

You might think Hillary will be easier for you to deal with than Donald Trump, but you’ll be singing a different tune when waves of Republicans are swept from office and the Democrats will have super majorities in both houses of the next congress. We’ll do more than stay home on election day, we’ll vote for your Democrat opponents.

Millions of Americans who have been reliable Republican voters have concluded that the leadership of both parties has been operating in the interests of Big Money and Big Business to the detriment of the middle class and we’ve had enough. If you insist on ruining what we consider our last chance to save this country to keep your place at the trough, then let’s get this party started.”
You may disagree with me in my methods, but I submit that the GOPe and every elected Republican official must be put on notice that them screwing Donald Trump out of the nomination will cost them and the party dearly.

Every House member and many Republican Senators have to stand for reelection this year. Trump voters have tremendous leverage if we promise to vote for the democrat against every Republican running for election in November if they defy us of our choice of Donald Trump for President.

You may not believe that the American people have any leverage in this, but many, many Republican elected officials stand to suffer career ending losses in their bid for reelection this November if the party doesn’t take us seriously and cheats the man millions of us voted for out of the nomination.

The party bosses may wish to ignore our voices but sooner or later, the Republican office holders running for reelection will hear about this and I believe they’ll take the promise seriously.

The delegates from my state were elected ages ago, so what exactly am I — a mere peon — supposed to do about this?

Message to GOP Delegates:

DONALD TRUMP LOVES TO SUE PEOPLE, and on a personal level.

So if you decide to go along with late change to the rules, you better have some deep pockets, because you WILL need them as you try to fight off his lawyers. For starters, Mr. Trump has already spent $30 Million of his own money, and probably will spend another $30 Million by the time this is over. And that is only direct damages. God knows what else Mr. Trump’s legal team will come up with.

(and no, not a threat as I have no association with Trump, just an observation based on his past business dealings - he doesn’t take being double-crossed very lightly)
