Take a break amd cool off!
There’s still ice in the arctic?
Whoops,...may not get what I wanted....in which case go to WUWT if any problem/
Kinda makes a person not complain about having to scrape the windshield once in a while!
The USN has been testing this capability for about 30 years. Maybe time to move on and find something new to garner the press with your now outclassed subs.
Getting out the chainsaw to clear the windshield is manly....
Neat video! One thing I never got to do was surface through the ice.
I’m not sure surfacing through ice is a good idea with a multi billion dollar boat
Now a time for football!!!! I am a registered Blue Nose BTW
I wonder if thy still haze when u cross the artic circle, international dateline or equator
Our fair water planes turned up on my old boats.
LOL...Priceless!
I was expecting to see Rock Hudson pop out of the hatch....
Ice? What ice? Isn’t it all gone?
I was kinda wondering about the guy walking on the ice covered hull with a pick ax!

Two items for FReerpers:
Re “There is still ice in the arctic?”
As Bill Paxton would say (Aliens), “Yet, but it’s a dry ice”.
The USSN Sargo might have been the first US sub to go under the ice and surface at the North Pole. Somewhere in the basement, in a First Day Cover book, is a cacheted envelope that was stamped by the Sargo’s postal office to honor that voyage. I think it was about 1958 or 59.
Yes, environmental wackos, the Arctic still has ice, thank you.
Sorry this must be fake. AlGore assures me that all the ice at the Pole will be melted by now...
