I don’t think Cruz cares. He is another one hoping for brokered convention.

Depending on how far away from 1237 either Cruz or Trump might be, there are the uncommitted who could be wined and dined.

thegreenpapers.com has the current number of uncommitted at 22.

Then, Rubio has 172 that he could either release or hold onto until the convention and try some powerplay.

There are still approximately 1000 available delegates in the coming primaries. Trump needs 541 of those; Cruz needs about 812 of those; Kasich needs all 1000 plus another 93.
