Dolly-I think you are on to something here. I have listened to Rush Limbaugh since my Sacramento days-heard him the first day he was on that radio station and have followed him throughout his career.I am now in retirement and have finally turned Rush off. I did it because he seems to have lost the objectivity I thought he always had. I found myself asking “did I just hear what I think I heard?”
My intuitive impression now, is that Rush seems to have some kind of personal animosity towards Trump.

I hear Rush mostly when we are driving and at home when I make the effort to get him on the computer. Our radio reception is bad in this rural area. Anyway I listen to Rush with a filter and he has much to contribute overall. His current conflict seems to be about balancing personal loyalty to family and friends with the intellectual judgment of what is going on and the likely outcome. Last week there was a rally in the Rush Limbaugh hometown of Cape Giradeau, Mo. where his brother is a huge supporter of Cruz and a biblical scholar in tune with what Cruz preaches to his supporters. I also have seen Rush in the past slip into accommodation of his current wife’s views or interests and I can certainly understand that and hope it means they are getting along just fine. Rush is unique in all he does and I hope he sticks around as long as he wants. His conflicting will cease when Donald Trump wins in Nov. Hang in there Rush.

Trump seems himself as a “winner”. In order to “win” he has to “Make American Great Again”. Conservatives want a strong healthy vibrant American. They Clinton/Sanders Left wants to tear down the USA and fundamentally transform it to “make it fair”.
Trump shares a commonality of interests with Conservatives he does not share with the Left.

Look rod, just because you disagree with me does not mean I’m being disruptive. I’ve been a FReeper since ‘09, and have never been admonished for improper behavior or banned. Sorry, but Rush is not acting in accordance with what he says he believes as of late. Myself, and many others have categorically cited this. Have you made the same threats to them as you’ve made to me? My comments yesterday on the Sunday Morning News thread, along with others comments regarding Rush were on topic; your problem is you disagree with them.
As I said, just because you disagree with what I said, does not mean I’m being disruptive or breaking any forum rules. I can do without your little threats.
BTW, why is it you won’t address what I put in post #158 on this thread? I clearly spelled out the problems many FReepers are having with Rush. Why do you ignore this?
I’ll address that when you get your radio show. Just let me know what station you are on.
