I think the lady should look at a few other factors first: Single parent “families,” welfare dependency, minimum wage, crime and poverty cycle.

A black Donald Trump supporter told Breitbart News that a border wall was necessary to get black Americans back into work, citing Harlem’s construction industry.

Absolutely! Talk about a "shovel ready" project for 30 years now, perfect for the construction industry! Build the wall already!

And on that beautiful bridge? I would be willing to pay $1,000 for a brick commemorating a fallen soldier or some other memorial to those who have made this country great.

And for the wall, I'll pay $100 each for another 10 bricks or so with my name on them to help defer the cost of the the wall.

And, I'll even volunteer for a week or maybe more if I can swing it to come out and do whatever I can to help. Maybe I can haul trash, or work the wheel barrows, or do a security detail to keep the enemies from shooting arrows at the builders, whatever I can do.

As a black person, I have to believe that at least 20-25% of the black voting population can be peeled off with this message. Yes, it’s true that about half of the black youths don’t really want to work, and can’t really hold down a job even if one was on offer, but that’s also the group that by and large doesn’t vote. The other half is absolutely willing and able to work, and they also make up a bigger share of the voting population. So you’re really just looking for maybe one out of three of those blacks who are willing and able to work, to get to 20-25% of the black vote.

If the black community wasn't so blind, they should realize the truth: open borders are killing black jobs — and they still vote Democrat. Obama promised them jobs and blacks are worse off than before he became POTUS. Yet they will still vote lock-step for Democrats.

The non-union construction industry in NYC is almost completely made up of immigrants, many of them illegal.
At one time these 'off-the-books' construction jobs were the training ground where young black and white teens got enough experience to go on to the well-paid craft union jobs-those days are probably gone forever, I believe.
The argument whether blacks (teens and young adults)won't take these jobs if they're available shouldn't matter-those jobs should be first and foremost available to American citizens and legal immigrants, whether they want them or not.
Whether illegal are hard workers or not should be no part of the argument over jobs. The fact is they have no right to them.
These non-union jobs were also one of the few places were ex-cons, black and white, could work and make a decent wage. That appears to be over also.
