Throngs of left-wing activists converged on Trump Tower on Saturday to protest the billionaire’s so-called “fascist” policies and “white supremacy.”
Cosmopolitan Anti-fascists cast a wide net on its Facebook page earlier in the week for “New Yorkers from different backgrounds” to protest the presidential hopeful, but all it got was different shades of liberalism. Roughly 5,000 people pledged to attend the event, but fewer than 1,000 showed up.

Anti-Trump hate has and will continue to backfire!
NY is a nest of radicals, to get less than 1,000 of them to turnout to protest Trump is amazing. Even having just 5,000 say they were going to show up is a lot smaller number than I would have expected. Trump has provided jobs for thousands of NYers over the decades, and he has been very visible there, and most have not seen him as some hulking evil force that has to be destroyed.
I also suspect that there is a lot more support for Trump in NY than there is against Trump.

Though liberals love their decadence and games, many of them are not stupid. They know if America falls, the game is over for them too.

From what I hear, FEWER than 100 showed up which is CONSIDERABLY below 1000, much less out of the park from the 5000 “promised.”
I’d called it a FLOP!

The Number that actually showed up was less than the night shift at Manhattan's Starbucks.
I saw the live video on youtube with extended helicopter shots from a local news station live feed.
I woiuld say 500. If you count the protesters that were there behind a fence, 1500.
Probably over a thousand didn’t make it because of road blockages.
I saw some signs that had the format/colors of ANSWER (act now to stop war and racism), the commie group that seems show up at these events.
Are we talking about the same place? I was talking about Trump Tower in NEw York. What “fence?”
From the video clips I saw, the NYPD and reporters outnumbered the “protesters” that mostly consisted of the usual riff-raff, work-shy and n’eer do wells. Dirty, smelly people.
I hope they didn’t crap on any police vehicles.
