The best that one can say for Garland is that he’s better than the other Democrat appointees on the Supreme Court. That’s faint praise.

The headline overstates Kasich's actual comments, but he has been on some sort of kamikaze tailspin since just before Ohio.
This has been a very destructive primary. Probably for the best. But Kasich has just thrown away his conservative Ohio support. I assume his 401(k) is ready for to go for 2018.
Agreed. The GOP has been infiltrated by liberals running in districts or states as republicans/conservatives, where they know they could not otherwise win as democrats/liberals. These bad seeds need to be expunged from the party and their current elective offices. This is the fear of the elites. With Trump as president, they will lose control of the party machine that decides who runs for everything from dog catcher to US senator. The GOP is the only party with the moral compass to right this country and Trump and the people would control it if he won. This is why the elites would rather lose than have Trump as president.
Kasich is a liberal I think he may even be to the left of Jim Webb...

Kasich has gone far left. This judge is extremely liberal if one digs a bit.
It has little to do with the so called Tea Party. They are mostly old school Dems like those in the 60’s.
Kasich has an anti-2nd Amendment record. He’s really a Democrat.
