Bernie Sanders will not join the rest of the presidential candidates and address AIPAC at next week's policy conference in Washington, D.C.

"I would very much have enjoyed speaking at the AIPAC conference. Obviously, issues impacting Israel and the Middle East are of the utmost importance to me, to our country and to the world," Sanders's letter to the pro-Israel organization states.

"Unfortunately, I am going to be traveling throughout the West and the campaign schedule that we have prevents me from attending.

Does Bernie think that if he does not attend ratings for the event will go way down and therefore everyone will see how valuable Bernie is? Or is there another explanation why all the candidates are going but Bernie a Jew with deep roots is skipping?

AIPAC is almost explicitly a Democrat Party operation, but disagrees strongly with Obama on Israel. Bernie is a Socialist Party adherent, and mostly agrees with Obama on Israel.

Sanders is definitely not a friend of Israel. The man is very confused and a weakling. He has no stomach to stand up to the bad guys. He is weak before the strong and strong before the weak.
