Actually, I AM missing something.

I am missing any evidence that someone who left a job and went to work for an outfit which has been traditionally hostile to Conservatives is connected somehow to the former employer still and double dipping.

Sorry, but no dice. Sounds like tinfoil hat time to me.

Sanders, Clinton, Rubio, Carson, Kasich, and Jebbie supporters (and others) might feel motivation to build a 'hate list', (Oh, boo hoo).

Or maybe it is just her personal project.

I figure if Trump wins, maybe things will work out, and if they don't, I tried.

The 'I told you so's are going to be a b*tch either way. So it goes.

What about the Constitution and Liberty? Guess she did not bring those concepts along when she changed positions. Is this the Cruz campaign mindset?

Well, if she didn't, that might be the reason for her changing jobs. She is acting like a Liberal, not a Constitutionalist or a Conservative.

Ironic that some people hint of Trump not paying attention to the Constitution and of being a potential hitler, yet what she is advocating is far more hitlereqsque than anything Trump ever said or did.

Well, it is on her. She doesn't even work for Cruz, and you are trying to blame him and his campaign for the actions of a CNN employee. CNN didn't do him any favors in Iowa, either. So this might well be a setup to make Cruz look bad.

If people can say that he blamed Communists and Racists rioting in the streets on Trump, the word 'trumped up' takes on new meanings, and this trumped up nonsense will probably be used to hurt him. What's next, someone who took the same cab he rode in a few days before does something and Cruz is accused of a conspiracy with them?

Wow. Listen to yourselves. That's what I find freaky.

I doubt the average CNN watcher in the airport knows that Amanda Carpenter is a Cruz loyalist...but they should be made aware of that when she is speaking or tweeting for CNN.

Well, how about posting the CV for all current and former Trump employees? Or the connections with all media people, past and present, whether they may have worked at the same firm a decade or two ago, or were college roomies or frat brothers? How far do you want to go with this, because what is good for the goose is good for the gander.

Or, better yet, how about letting the actions of a person be the responsibility of the person who performed those acts? If there is an employer involved and they bear part of that responsibility, then let them, but that employer is CNN.

And, please, I have listened repeatedly to Ted Cruz's comments about the Chicago rioting, and he didn't say Trump's name, much less blame him for the actions of communist rioters in the street. It was Trump supporters who decided a shoe fit.

Are you serious? Shoe fit? Huh? Uh he did. I am not alone in that analysis.

So Cruz was not talking about Trump because Cruz didn’t say “Trump’s name...well either you did not watch the news that night or you totally disregarded the question directed to him that he was answering. He was asked about Trump’s campaign....What a lamea$$ comment to defend Cruz comments. Sheesh! Cruz was at a lavish fundraiser in the suburbs of Chicago...and was asked about Trump’s rally in Chicago by local TV news...I suggest you refrain from commenting on topics you really don’t know about I live in CHicagoland, I was there....

“I think a campaign bears responsibility for creating an environment, when the candidate urges supporters to engage in physical violence–to punch people in the face. The predictable consequence of that is that it escalates and today is unlikely to be the last such instance,” Cruz said in a sorrowful tone...Who else was he talking about?!?!

IF you want to justify Carpenter’s hate list, fine. Oh it was her own idea, but it is based on her loyalty to Cruz...not being a CNN employee...I think it it another attempt to squelch free speech—from the right not the left, so I don’t know what half of your comments have to do with it...CNN didn’t force her to tweet that...”Sanders Rubio Jebbie supporters....boo hoo” had nothing to do with Carpenter’s “project” and you justify it...fine. Set up to make Cruz look bad? Aren’t you stretching...

Hate lists...Such a conservative idea...just like trampling free speech which Cruz defended—just like a woman wearing a short skirt deserves what she gets. Carpenter left the Cruz campaign on good terms...glowing comments about it...didn’t leave because she opposed him or his campaign tactics and positions. She is not a liberal.

Tin foil? Don’t put silly words in my mouth FRend...I never said she was on Cruz payroll. People have to be paid to be an operative. But she left the campaign at a convenient time...and if she is not disclosed as a someone who has had or has very close ties to Cruz and is a huge supporter (which she obviously is thru her Tweet to do a Trump hate list), it is doing the public a disservice.

I think all former employment and affiliation should be disclosed by all networks...for all candidates...Cruz, Kasich and TRump...put it under their name with their other credentials which are often touted on the the tv as person is talking...Who is Carl Rove? How about Frank Luntz being Rubio’s personal opinion maker for years?...For years Stephanopolis has paraded as a journalist...Oh he is not double dipping, but he is a Clinton operative...always framing discussions to reflect favorably on democrats in general, Hillary in particular. Heck, he was a Presidentialdebate moderator???? How impartial! LOL Frankly, I see no problem disclosing...I am shocked that you would.

Listen to yourselves”...Yup, I am for full disclosure of past and present political allegiances of media staff—You betcha because working for a political campaign really transcends a personal opinion and certainly contributes to media bias and presenting certain facts omitting others, etc....We have screamed about this on the side of the left...it is just new to us on the right.

Getting back to Carpenter..and one sentence comment—for which I have spent better part of half hour defending...

She is supporting fascism....” way of organizing a society in which a government ruled by a dictator controls the lives of the people and in which people are not allowed to disagree with the government.” As far as the Cruz campaign mindset...I really don’t know what they are thinking, but he he did not defend Trump’s right to free speech or my right to assemble.

My take away is Carpenter is motivated to punish any threat to Cruz...Why, because she is a huge supporter, was very involved and I think it would be naive to assume she is not in contact with the Cruz campaign staff. That is not the real world. But I will apologize for using the word Plant...Sheesh, but she is a former Cruz employee—senior communications and speech writer—media savvy who is advocating a hate list...I have a huge problem with this. Feel like I am living in old Soviet Union or China.

Back to the rally, Cruz and the other candidates did not care about my safety or my right to assemble. You were not there. I was—just wanted to go hear Trump in person. I ended up being in multiple videos being ambushed by a mob of Chicago rent-a-thugs. It was very frightening—very traumatic as no police were in my vicinity...

These Chicago Moveon.org BLM thugs were not discouraged by media or other candidates...and they will get worse whether Cruz or Trump wins because of this!! Today, Trump’s son was threatened. Mail with white powder sent...Some here actually said it was a Trump stunt...Where is the outrage? We are in serious trouble here, and people better get a clue that allowing for stuff like this from both the left and the right either by tacitly approving or saying nothing is going to be bad for everyone.

BTW, I posted about my ambush by thugs a lot last weekend, and not one Cruz supporter on this forum said “wow, that is awful” or “Glad you are ok”...not one. Because I am not a Cruz supporter, my safety and rights were not important.

I am very sensitive to what happened and what was said...I suspect you would if you were there. Not defending free speech and right to assemble and starting hate lists is not very Constituional IMHO.
