Well, you know what? I don’t support Trump. And the bullying insulting, immature, childish attacks on me, or the candidate I support, won’t change that. In fact, it solidifies my stance.

You know, it’s really sad. If you don’t believe in or support Trump, his supporters attack you. They never want to argue the merits of why you don’t like or support him and/or why you support someone else. It’s just flat out, vitriol. And to be fair, I have seen some Cruz supporters attacking Trump supporters the same way. Not many, but most of the vitriolic anger and hatred is coming from the Trump side. It makes me wonder about those who support him and where their head, heart and mind are. I don’t think they are thinking rationally, or logically. I think they are thinking with emotion, anger, and frustration. And let’s be honest, no one makes good decisions when they are angry.

And I get it, I’m angry too, and I don’t like what has become of our corrupt and evil government, in both parties, on both sides. I don’t like how our country has become so divided and there’s so much vitriol being spewed, because people have differing opinions. But I’m not going to make decisions based on my emotions. I’m making my decisions based on logic, reasoned rationale and common sense. I’m listening to all sides and doing my own research and am finding the best candidate is one who not only speaks to my core convictions and principles, but who also stands firm on those same principles himself. Someone who truly takes what it means to be American and America, to heart.

REALITY CHECK: It’s not about Trump. It’s not even about Ted Cruz. It’s about the Constitution and AMERICA.

It’s about what YOU believe in. What YOU hold dear. What are YOUR values, principles and convictions? Because for me, I believe in God, the Bible, the Constitution, what the founding fathers believed in, American values, American traditions, and the spirit of standing on principles and convictions and never wavering because it might hurt someone’s feelings or because someone’s opinion differs. The ONLY way to make this country great again, is to acknowledge and remember, what made it good. We ARE good people. And we ARE better people than those who are threatening riots and violence and attacking others who don’t agree. We are better than to pick petty fights on the internet with those who disagree. It won’t change their mind anyway. And that is not America. Fighting and bickering is NOT America. America is coming together. America is finding common ground and uniting.

The Founding Fathers had different religions, different beliefs, different ideas, yet they came together and realized to make a country work, to make the people come together, you had to find common ground, common beliefs and give everyone an equal footing on rights, liberty, pursuit of freedom.....Hence the Constitution. Hence the Bill of Rights.

To walk over that, or to usurp it or create ones own laws, aside from that, is what is causing this country to be in such turmoil. Allowing an elite group of people to control the whole of the people is never what the Founders intended. For government to be the answer to the people, was not what was intended. Quite the contrary. In specific terms, even, the Founders wanted it to be WE THE PEOPLE and the government serves US. We don’t need to elect any more people who have the intent of making government bigger, or more involved in our lives. We need to get away from people who don’t understand, recognize or even mention the Constitution and our Bill of God given rights. We need people who have a record of UPHOLDING the Constitution and who stand for something more than just react emotionally to the negatives.

WE THE PEOPLE need to take back our government and put it firmly in it’s place. THEY work for US!!! So, with all do respect to everyone, on both sides of the isle, please carefully remember history, remember what thousands have fought and died for, and remember what is at stake. It’s not just about stopping the corruption and making those corrupt pay. It’s not just about putting people in government who will do what they say. It’s not just about getting things done. This is about the future of our country. This is about the future of our lives, our childrens lives, our grand childrens lives, etc. This is about what kind of life THEY will have. And if we make the wrong decision now, made out of anger, revenge, hate, fear, or even spite, because we want someone to fix something NOW, it could lead to the destruction of everything we hold dear.
