How is chewing tobacco hurting anyone except possibly the person chewing? There is no "second-hand" spit.Only hurts the people who have to walk through the dugout. You wouldn't believe the floor of the dugout after a game. I have no doubt the chewing will continue though, same as the smoking did/does just out of camera range.
