There has been much talk of a brokered convention these days, as the heads of the various factions that make up the crime syndicate known as GOP Inc. hunker down in dim, yellow rooms to plot the destruction of the crass interloper Donald Trump. Until now I havent taken such talk seriously, because a plausible brokered convention strategy requires a viable candidate to rally around, and none of the oafs, ninnies, and gimps being floated strike me as viable. Bush, Rubio, and Romney stink of failure and lassitude, and the selection of any one of them as the nominee would send an already jittery base to the mattresses.

I like “The Godfather” reference! ;-)
Well, we know it wasn’t Tattaglia, because Tattaglia is a pimp...
He could have never outfought Santino.
Trump must have a majority of delegates when the last poll closes.
Trump must have 1,237 delegates, not just a majority. Problem is that means Trump would have to win 69% of the remaining 831 eligible delegates left to pledge. I'm afraid they (GOPe) may already have maneuvered the Republican Party into a brokered convention. How they handle it, which I of course see as badly, will determine if the Republican Party survives. 2016 Convention in Cleveland will not look like the 1968 Democrat Convention in Chicago, will it?
This brokered convention stuff is real, folks, and Ryan is likely the guy waiting in the wings. Moreover, Ryan is not just a puppet; hes one of the guys devising and implementing strategy. These Mafiosi dont like outsiders invading their turf, and they will stop at nothing to cap Trump in a bottle and send him out with the Japanese current.
This means that you, as voters, need to be smart. If you are registered as an independent, in a state with a closed primary, if it is not too late, you need to go and change your registration to Republican. Forget that Im done with the Republican Party stuff, its what they want. Your anger doesnt matter if you cant vote.
