I'm glad we at least have a Republican running for this office on the ballot already. I made sure I voted for Christopher. Most of the GOP primary races in Crook County had the ever popular "No Candidate" on the ballot.

Of course the media is acting like Foxx is already the new States Attorney. We don't need no stinkin' election in November, start the coronation now!

Interesting trivia, the last Republican to win countywide in Crook was States Attorney Jack O'Malley in 1992. Tony Pericia (who won the suburbs but lost the city) would have been the second.

I also noticed that some Cook Co. countywide races have no republican candidates. I hope a Republican will run for recorder of deeds.
