There’s a commercial for a Chevy car that mutes the radio until you out your seatbelt on, I guess that gives some people warm fuzzies but it infuriates me.

Do you remember the fiasco with seat belt interlocks and starting your car? Did that happen or was it a nightmare? LOL!

That bugs me too!

The same commercial also has a comment along the lines of “it reminds me of an Audi”, which I wouldn’t have put in there. Kia and Hyundai are known for copying styling elements of upscale autos (Mercedes, BMW) and it looks like Chevrolet is following suit.

When I first saw the car, I immediately picked up on the rear 3-quarter view looking like the same view from an Audi A7. I would not take “looking like an Audi” as a compliment for marketing purposes. I would consider it a design-team fail (besides the fact that its profile now looks like late-model Buicks). It’s hard to draw in young blood when your design elements mirror the styling on cars associated with old people.
