Another Ex-State Dept. Official Refuses To Talk To Congress About Hillary’s Server
Daily Caller ^ | 3/13/16 | Chuck Ross

A second former State Department official is refusing to talk to Congress about what he might know about Hillary Clinton’s private email system.

Politico reports that John Bentel, who retired from the State Department in Dec. 2012, has told the House Select Committee on Benghazi and the Senate Judiciary and Homeland Security Committees that he will not meet to discuss the server and what, if anything, he knows about it.

In response to a Dec. 5 letter from Judiciary Committee chairman Sen. Chuck Grassley and Homeland Security chairman Sen. Ron Johnson, Bentel said he had “no memory of knowledge” about the server.

But the Senators believe Bentel may know something. As director of information resources management at the office of executive secretariat, Bentel oversaw information technology for top level officials at the State Department, including Clinton.

if you’re in the position of testifying against a Clinton, it’s best to be real quiet. You’ll live longer

He's already testified once and refuses to be put through that ringer again. I can sympathize but they should squeeze him to see if he can remember the lies he told last time.

If he screws up after they compel him, he could be looking at Federal perjury charges. THEN he'll sing.

He’s probably fishing for immunity. He saw what Pagliano got, and he wants some.

What’s to hide if there’s nothing to hide

Afraid of being Vince Fostered? Yep.
How many coincidental Clinton associate deaths? A long streak of bad luck, of course.

Obama will stretch this beyond 1/20/2017, and win or lose in November, PIAPS will be off the hook. At most, some low level knothead will get a wrist slap, and that will be it. For the Clintons, crime *does* pay...big time.

I think they should waterboard him. But, I am a Trump supporter, so I guess my view is not surprising.

On the other hand, early adopters of immunity from prosecution agreements who turn states evidence get the best plea agreements.

Bryan Pagliano cut an awesome deal with will serve him well if he does not end up committing suicide with 8 gun shots to the back of head and wind up decapitated along a set of rail road tracks in Ft Marcy park

Wait . . .

Congress has no power to compel Executive Branch employees (or former employees) to discuss their jobs in spite of paying their salaries?

They can refuse to . . . It’s just that simple?

What’s to prevent everyone from pulling a Lois Lerner, do whatever they like, and then do this?

(I know: it’s a rhetorical question. We — or rather our proxies — let them.)

I have this picture of Hillary going to a late night restaurant after a full day of campaigning, denying and of course lying. She sits at a back table with Huma. The waiter approaches; “Hello Ladies! I am your Server. Are you ready TO BE SERVED?”
Hillary’s eye bug out, she keeps repeating the phrase ‘My Server?”, drops her fork on her porcelain plate. Still not answering, still looking dazed, Hillary bends over ,takes her high heels off, then RUNS out of the eatery into the dark of night.
Huma gives herself a facepalm “Not this again!”.

A “Server” ... That’s micro-aggression, or worse.
