Surely you jest. (???)
Yes, people have spread manure on crops for thousands of years. That doesn't make it clean. We have better ways to do it today.
What stirs the pot here is the ongoing campaign by an irresponsible faction within the organic cult to cast aspersions on conventional agriculture. The truth is that modern farming methods are cleaner and safer than antiquated methods. But organic farmers, with inherently less productive systems, have difficulty justifying the cost premium for organic products, so some of them engage in a scare campaign. Shame on them.
Please. Don’t pass on what you think as gospel. manure isn’t simply spread as it comes out. Look up the composte process and pay attention to the temperatures created in a shit pile.
Well, if they are all already using safe practices, the regulations shouldn’t change how they operate. And, of course, no one got sick from eating at Chipolte.
Government overreach.
Agian.
When do they start requiring licenses to fart?
Well if it’s one thing politicians know a lot about, it’s shoveling s__t.
