and this is what he’s proud of. To top it off, he’s having Romney campaign with him today. It’s almost as if he wants to lose.

It means he didn’t learn a damn thing. At least President Reagan expressed his reservations about signing the bill. I understand why he did it, allowing amnesty in exchange for the enforcement provisions, which unfortunately were rarely enforced.

First: every time this guy opens his mouth he starts with “look” ....a very antagonistic stance right out of the gate.

Second: apparently he was everywhere when everything was happening. So what. Attendance does not equate being part of actually getting something done. It simply means you were in the room; similarly a husband may be in the room when his wife is giving birth however, I don’t think anyone would argue it is her doing all the work and acutally producing something.

Third: His states’ economy IS largely based on fracking and frankly that is a short lived bonus and what is the plan moving forward?

Fourth: Amnesty. Read his record.

And that was the second greatest mistake Reagan did in my view , the worst was not to veto the Hughes amendment

Everybody makes mistakes but being proud of Reagan biggest mistakes is not a good idea

Ask the Steinle family about Amnesty Mr. Kasich of O-hi-O.

Or the family of Bob Krentz

Or the families of the 5 people killed last week by Pablo Antonio Serrano-Vitorino, Illegal Alien Felon (there’s so many dead, how can we keep track?)

Or the families of all 3000+ 9/11 victims, since the terrorists were mostly in the country on expired visas

The death toll is in the tens of thousands over the last 30 years. Yet pathetic idiots like Kasich still wants to make them our citizens? He thinks deportation is a “penalty”?

Even the leftist Supreme Court didn’t believe that.

John Kasich is proud his is responsible for Americans losing jobs.

Ironic that Kaisch is pushing for illegal aliens since they are the ones who created the huge black tar heroin problem in Ohio and caused untold misery. Black tar heroin is much, much worse than brown street heroin, almost instantly addictive, and pushed by a group from Mexico, all the dealers illegal aliens. The odd thing is that they are under orders to recruit, including outside schools, and sell only to whites.

30 years later we are still waiting for the enforcement that they assured us would make another amnesty unnecessary.

All that has ever been offered is more amnesties for the illegala liens.

No enforcement, no border security.

There has NEVER been any intention of stopping The Cheap Labor Express.

Was the problem thew amnesty or the failure to enforce the rest of the law? I think it was clearly the latter. Only three million were admitted at that time. What has led us to this present situation was the desire of our leaders to have a free flow of goods and labor throughout north America.

“I was there — amnesty — I was there in ‘86. I voted for the bill.”

Kasich is a textbook example of why the Framers should have put term limits into the Constitution. Perennial parasites like him are what’s wrong with our system.

Maybe he is so uninformed that he doesn’t know what will help and what won’t help; he must though know have deeply liberal people in OH have been for years.

He voted for amnesty in ‘86....

Amnesty in ‘86 was an abysmal failure....

Kasich is a moron, incapable of learning from, let alone admitting to his mistakes....

Sorry, I blame the voters. He’s been on the taxpayer teet SINCE (at least) ‘86....and still gets voted into office.

I only HOPE Ohio doesn’t allow one to run for (higher) office and still keep their existing position. Would be nice to see another fossil drummed out into a lush career in prostitution (no not IN office, the ‘bad’ kind called ‘lobbyists’).
