Don’t want to put this in the thread where her death was being discussed.
I remember hearing the conversation between NPR’s David Greene and Roberts on Monday, March 14, 2016. Green was critical of her column and rightly so. She sounded defiant. I remember thinking that and also how disappointed I was in her.
Her last NPR Monday morning political analysis was May 2, 2016. Perhaps that was due to her health or semi-retirement.
I vaguely remember her making the comment that those who support President Trump were “morally tainted”, but by that time I had stopping going out of my way to listen to her take on politics.
