I thought I read there that it was unanimous consent"

I read that, too, but wondered if it was unanimous consent for the changes or unanimous consent for the bill with changes. If that's the final time it passed the US Senate, we can conclude that Rubio, Cruz, and Sanders voted for the law.

What hypocrites they are. Instead of blaming Trump for the protestors at the rallies, they should point out that they're violating federal law (which they helped pass) by protesting at Trump rallies!

To b fair, Rubio was in the Senate when this bill passed, but Cruz wasn’t.

I wonder who would decide to arrest and prosecute? Who would make that decision? In one of our largest cities, Chicago, with what I would imagine to have one of the largest government infrastructure of prosecutors, etc.---would not one watching TV Friday night REMEMBER the law?

I get the idea a prosecutor or part of that staff is on call for a cop to call in the event of sticky situations in which the police department would need legal advice--did no cop call and ask for directions from a superior on how to handle the protesters? Their approach and direction and strategy had to come from someone in authority at the Chi P.D. ...?

I am thinking aloud...what do other Freepers think?

Is it Occam's Razor? The PD knows the Feds and the Mayor would not want them to enforce that law and mess up the plans of Soros or Ayers or BLM or whoever....So no questions had to be asked? I know that's how the DOJ works---Holder, for example, didn't have to ask Obama any incriminating questions nor did Obama have to issue any incriminating orders in relation to anything--Holder knew the score, knew what his boss wanted him to do in a given situation...
