Ohio Gov. John Kasich defended his support for free trade Sunday, just days ahead of a critical primary for the Republican presidential candidate in his home state.
Mr. Kasichs support for the North American Free Trade Agreement and Trans-Pacific Partnership trade deals has made him a target of Donald Trump, the national frontrunner in the race for the GOP presidential nomination.
Ive always been a fair trader and a free trader at the same time, Mr. Kasich said on CBSs Face the Nation. He added that 38 million Americans have jobs that are connected to trade. So we do want to have free trade.
In a separate interview on Fox News Sunday, he said free trade has allowed Chinese and German companies to invest and hire in Ohio.

Kasich is a tool of the 0001%, a sweater wearing, kissy huggy, globalist, open borders, Traitor.
I’ll repeat it again:
“Free Trade” deals.
Elites and billionaires get the goldmine.
The rest of us get the SHAFT!
I hope he tells that to all those unemployed steel workers around his state, it may come back to haunt him.
It appears that Trump’s campaign speeches, and the ad Trump ran against him is forcing him on the defensive. I heard that there were 42,000 democrats who switched their registration to republican, don’t know how that will play out. I suspect the Chicago riot, and all of Trump’s campaigning in OH will help Trump, and even the dems switching, may help him, too.
These deals aren’t free trade, some industries win and other’s lose based on their political influence.
This guy sounds like he’s in the wrong political party. Maybe he just made a mistake when registering to vote ?
The three headed RINO Cruzbiosich needs Ohio or the ballgame is over and they know it. Notice the emphasis on Florida has diminished. I think the establishment knows that state is gone for them. Illinois, North Carolina and Missouri are barely getting a mention. Ohio is their last stand against Trump.
All blue collar jobs lose. Wall Street, banks, corporate offices lose. The small towns and rural states lose.
