Candidate Cruz "Mr. the best conservative in history" who stands up for the constitution doesn't seem to mind siding with these people and denying Trump his first amendment rights. As long as Trump is being "shut down" that is all that matters. This has all the makings of backfiring the way Mitt Romney attacked Trump!

Apparently, in 2012, Obama passed H.R. 347 making it a federal crime to protest any person(s) (a.k.a. the Federal Restricted Buildings and Grounds Improvement Act) who has secret service protection?

There are many articles, but from this one:

The Orwellian-named “free speech zones” Protected by the Federal Restricted Buildings and Grounds Improvement ActFlickr/Michael Vadonon college campus and political rallies are nothing new to regular readers of Reason, and suppressing political dissent with the brute force of government has been a feature of the American system since shortly after 9/11/01, when the Secret Service and local law enforcement entities began confining demonstrators to “protest zones.”

What might be a surprise is the fact that quietly and right under our noses in 2012, Congress nearly unanimously passed H.R. 347 (a.k.a. the Federal Restricted Buildings and Grounds Improvement Act) which makes it a federal crime punishable by up to 10 years in prison to “willfully and knowingly” enter a restricted area or to engage in “disorderly or disruptive conduct” that in any way impedes “government business or official functions.”

Signed into law by President Obama, this supposed tweak of a pre-existing law effectively criminalized protest of any person under the protection of the Secret Service, a select group which includes both major parties’ front-runners for the presidential nomination. During the general election, the nominees of both parties are automatically assigned Secret Service protection, but Hillary Clinton, as a former first lady, is entitled to a Secret Service detail for the rest of her life, and Donald Trump has had a detail assigned to him since last November.

Dahlia Lithwick and Raymond Vasvari wrote in Slate that “the law makes it easier for the government to criminalize protest. Period.” They also assert the words “disorderly” or “disruptive” could be defined down to mean almost anything with regards to “impeding government business.”

Several leftists were present at the Sea Island CONfab.

I thinkthey are in league with the GOPe and all are behind the attacks on Trump and his supporters at his rallies.

Bush was the messanger who delivered the plan to the 3 stooges on the day of the last debate.

Mr. Amnesty/friend of Paul Ryan, Luis Gutierez was calling for these protests last week against Trump.

And Cruz...compared Trump to Obama this morning!

“Cruz also compared the “demagoguery” of Trump to President Obama, who he called “a world class demagogue” for his language “designed to divide us.”

Cruz has a lot more in common with Obama than Trump does!
What’s really funny about that is that Cruz IS comparable...
1st term do nothing senator, with NO executive experience. Tied in with Wall Street. Harvard alumni and lies like Obama....and we KNOW TED was born on foreign soil! Both from dysfunctional families too!

Trump also bears some responsibility—though only a little. After all, you can’t go around telling people to punch others in the face only to get all upset when someone does it back. You have to accept responsibility for your own free speech, too. Just like the Dippy Chimps got their records pulled from the airwaves for their anti-American rants. They had free speech to say what ever they wanted to say, but we all had the corresponding right to throw away their albums and to tell radio stations we didn’t want to hear them anymore. Free speech is great, but it isn’t without consequences.

Let’s see then. Trump would get crushed in the general by either Hill or Bern as we’ve been told countless times. Also Hill loses to Cruz or Rubio.

So why is the left striving so hard to shut Trump down? Do they somehow sense Trump won’t be the cakewalk everyone says?

Answer is the Marxist group that claimed they were attacked by Trump’s body guard while protesting outside a Trump hotel months ago.

Not one of our “conservative” Presidential Candidates blamed BLM, Bernie, MoveOn.org, etc. for the violence at Trump rallies. NOT ONE OF THEM BROUGHT UP THE FACT THAT OBAMA WELCOMED blm TO THE White House, thereby, legitimizing the violent hate group.

Disgusting!
